Key Accountabilities:

  • Maintain the data base in the management program for identifying and recording all project documents.
  • Input all documents and other data into the system in a timely manner, usually on the day received, including document identification and entry in accordance with the approved procedures.
  • Set up and maintain the data management program for identifying and recording all documents in the project’s engineering surveillance database.
  • Act as primary focal point for communication and document handling for the engineering teams, site teams and Owners teams around the world.
  • Satisfactory receipt and indexing of data transmitted from each of the above locations.
  • Ensure that all engineering drawings and related communications are transmitted to the correct recipients maintaining contractual obligations.
  • Ensure entry and identification of all design phase documentation into the project’s data management system.

  • Follow all relevant departmental policies, processes, and procedures so that work is carried out in a controlled and consistent manner.

 

Others:

  • Carry out any other related duties as directed by Quality Assurance Manager to support the shipbuilding  initiatives and projects.

Qualifications, Experience and Job Skills

Qualifications:

  • Diploma in Business Administration, Information Management, or related technical field.

 

Experience:

  • Minimum five (5) years’ experience in a project environment, preferably the oil and gas industry with a ship owner/operator, responsible for the design and construction of large vessels.
  • Knowledge of ships and marine nomenclature.

 

Job Specific Skills:

  • Excellent written and spoken English language skills.
  • Proficient in the use of word processor, spreadsheet, and presentation software (especially Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint), including the ability to prepare professional reports and presentations.
  • Ability to work with figures and to present summary figures in a clear, concise manner.
