Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage civil design projects, focusing on infrastructure development and utilities.
- Coordinate with internal teams, external consultants, and stakeholders to ensure project goals are met within specified timelines and budgets.
- Utilize expertise in civil engineering to provide technical guidance and support to the project team.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards in all project deliverables.
- Act as a key point of contact for clients, addressing their needs and concerns throughout the project lifecycle.
- Conduct regular site visits and inspections to monitor project progress and address any issues that may arise.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement best practices to enhance project efficiency and quality.
- Lead the development and implementation of master plans for industrial design projects, ensuring alignment with client objectives and regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with architects, urban planners, and other professionals to integrate civil infrastructure elements into overall master plans.
- Oversee the preparation and review of engineering designs, specifications, and cost estimates for civil infrastructure and utility systems.
- Manage project budgets, tracking expenditures, and ensuring cost-control measures are in place.
- Conduct risk assessments and develop risk mitigation strategies for civil engineering aspects of projects.
- Champion sustainability and resilience initiatives in civil design projects, incorporating innovative and environmentally friendly solutions.
- Foster a culture of safety and adherence to best practices in civil engineering and construction activities.
- Provide mentorship and guidance to junior staff, fostering their professional development and growth within the organization.
- Stay abreast of industry trends, technological advancements, and best practices in civil design and infrastructure development.
Minimum Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field; Master’s degree is a plus.
- Proven experience in project management with a focus on civil design, infrastructure, and utilities.
- Strong understanding of master planning principles for industrial design projects.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.
- Proficiency in project management tools and software.
- Professional certifications (e.g., PMP) are desirable.
- Familiarity with regulatory requirements and industry standards related to civil engineering projects.
