Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage civil design projects, focusing on infrastructure development and utilities.
  • Coordinate with internal teams, external consultants, and stakeholders to ensure project goals are met within specified timelines and budgets.
  • Utilize expertise in civil engineering to provide technical guidance and support to the project team.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards in all project deliverables.
  • Act as a key point of contact for clients, addressing their needs and concerns throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Conduct regular site visits and inspections to monitor project progress and address any issues that may arise.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement best practices to enhance project efficiency and quality.
  • Lead the development and implementation of master plans for industrial design projects, ensuring alignment with client objectives and regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with architects, urban planners, and other professionals to integrate civil infrastructure elements into overall master plans.
  • Oversee the preparation and review of engineering designs, specifications, and cost estimates for civil infrastructure and utility systems.
  • Manage project budgets, tracking expenditures, and ensuring cost-control measures are in place.
  • Conduct risk assessments and develop risk mitigation strategies for civil engineering aspects of projects.
  • Champion sustainability and resilience initiatives in civil design projects, incorporating innovative and environmentally friendly solutions.
  • Foster a culture of safety and adherence to best practices in civil engineering and construction activities.
  • Provide mentorship and guidance to junior staff, fostering their professional development and growth within the organization.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends, technological advancements, and best practices in civil design and infrastructure development.

 

Minimum Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field; Master’s degree is a plus.
  • Proven experience in project management with a focus on civil design, infrastructure, and utilities.
  • Strong understanding of master planning principles for industrial design projects.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.
  • Proficiency in project management tools and software.
  • Professional certifications (e.g., PMP) are desirable.
  • Familiarity with regulatory requirements and industry standards related to civil engineering projects.
