Duties & Responsibilities
To assist CDEM faculty inteaching dental students all relevant methods and techniques required tofabricate and repair prosthetic dental appliances. The work involves assistingin the training, supervision and teaching of students throughout their dentallab work, as well as assisting in the construction of patients’ prosthesisduring students’ clinical placement.

  • Demonstrate and instruct dental students on the use of specialized dental lab/clinic equipment and various techniques related to removable and fixed dental prosthesis design and construction during their preclinical and clinical training.
  • Demonstrate and instruct dental students on the use of specialized dental lab/clinic equipment and various techniques related to implant prosthesis design and construction during their preclinical and clinical training.
  • Demonstrate and instruct dental students on the use of CAD-CAM system in the design and construction of fixed prosthesis.
  • Assist in the construction of students’ patient removable and fixed prosthesis as deemed necessary during their clinical training with emphasis on chrome-cobalt partial denture design and construction.
  • Update job knowledge and skills by participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining personal networks; and join relevant professional organizations.

Performother job-related duties within his/her ability as required and instructed aswell as tasks and duties that may be occasionally required in order to meet therequirements of the role and the aims of the dental college.
