Responsible for certain administrative aspects of the operations in order to assist the Line Manager in smooth running of day to day operations.

 

Responsibilities

  1. Follow daily administrative work for the line manager and provide him with the necessary pleadings about appointments and tasks associated with it.
  2. Prepare, execute and supervise the ordinary-level of correspondence, letters and circulars related to employee information excluding those of a sensitive nature.
  3. Assist in arranging meetings with DVC, Deans and Directors.
  4. Assist in communication between the Line Manager and the employees.
  5. Communicate with DVC, Deans, Directors, employees etc. when and as required e.g. posting notices on the Notice Boards or mailing the circular to all employees.
  6. Monitors all relevant documents and ensure they are updated and error-free.
  7. Review of documents, reports and correspondence, extracts of which work directly responsible to inform them and work statements and tables that show the basic information about the relevant topic.
  8. Prepare minutes of meetings.
  9. Follow-up and preparation of monthly and periodic reports required.
  10. Maintenance of Files and documents related to the department.

Assist in photocopying documents when required. 

Experience

Minimum of one-year experience in management or administration, preferably in a University or college 

Skills

  1. Fluent in English and Arabic.
  2. Excellent in computer skills.

Qualification

Bachelor degree from an accredited university in Arts, Management or related field.
