Saudi Aramco, one of the world’s leading integrated energy and chemicals companies, and international contract logistics provider DHL Supply Chain have signed a shareholders’ agreement to establish a New Joint Venture Company called ASMO for Procurement and Logistics Hub in Saudi Arabia to enhance supply chain efficiency and sustainability. It would be the region’s first hub catering to industrial, energy, chemical, and petrochemical customers. ASMO aims to be operational in 2025 and provide reliable end-to-end integrated procurement and supply chain services for companies across the industrial, energy, chemical, and petrochemical sectors. Our short-term focus customers will be Saudi Aramco and its own affiliates. In the long term, all the industrial sectors within Saudi Arabia, and the ultimate goal is to reach the MENA region. 

Right now, we are seeking a dynamic person to take on the Contract Lifecycle Management Specialist role relating to ASMO based in Al Khobar.

Objective: 

• The Contract Lifecycle Specialist’s primary responsibility is to manage and oversee the entire contract lifecycle within his/her designated category. The role holder will play a critical role in ensuring the effective creation, negotiation, and compliance management of contracts, while ensuring adherence to legal and regulatory requirements.  

Duties Responsibilities: 

• Collaborate with category teams and suppliers to draft and create contracts that clearly outline terms, conditions, and expectations. 

• Assist in contract negotiations, ensuring that contractual terms align with ASMO’s requirements and standards. 

• Monitor and manage contract compliance, ensuring that both ASMO and suppliers adhere to contractual agreements and legal obligations. 

• Handle any necessary amendments or modifications to contracts, as required during the contract’s lifecycle. 

• Maintain accurate records and documentation related to contract creation, negotiations, amendments, and compliance management. 

• Regularly review contracts to identify opportunities for cost savings, risk mitigation, and process improvement. 

• Ensure that all contracts comply with legal and regulatory requirements in collaboration with legal experts. 

• Communicate contract-related information and updates to suppliers and internal stakeholders as needed. 

• Contribute to the identification of opportunities for the continuous improvement of systems, processes and practices to increase productivity and operational efficiency. 

• Implement all relevant Department’s policies, processes, procedures and instructions so that work is carried out in a controlled and consistent manner. 

Qualifications and Skills Required:

 

• Bachelor’s degree in law, Business Administration, or equivalent from a recognized and accredited university is required. 

• Master’s degree in law, Business Administration, or equivalent from a recognized and accredited university is preferred. 

• Demonstrated proficiency in oral and written English.

• 5 years in a similar role .
