WSP Abu Dhabi is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Contract Administrator to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will have at least 12 years of experience in contract administration within the construction consultancy sector, with a strong focus on utilities and infrastructure projects. Recent experience in Abu Dhabi is a mandatory requirement.

Key Responsibilities:

Contract Management:

  • Oversee the preparation, review, negotiation, and administration of contracts for utilities and infrastructure projects.
  • Ensure compliance with contractual terms and conditions and manage contract modifications, claims, and variations.

Documentation and Reporting:

  • Maintain comprehensive records of all contract-related documentation, including correspondences, amendments, and contract deliverables.
  • Prepare regular reports on contract performance, highlighting key issues, risks, and opportunities for improvement.

Stakeholder Coordination:

  • Collaborate with project managers, engineers, legal teams, and clients to ensure smooth contract execution and alignment on contractual matters.
  • Facilitate effective communication among all project stakeholders to resolve contractual disputes and issues promptly.

Risk Management:

  • Identify potential contractual risks and develop strategies to mitigate them.
  • Ensure all contractual obligations are fulfilled in a timely and cost-effective manner.

Financial Oversight:

  • Monitor and manage contract budgets and expenditures to ensure projects remain within financial constraints.
  • Handle payment applications, invoices, and ensure timely and accurate payments to contractors and suppliers.

Legal Compliance:

  • Ensure all contracts comply with UAE laws, regulations, and WSP’s internal policies.
  • Stay updated on legal and regulatory changes affecting contract administration and implement necessary adjustments.

 

We’d love to hear from you if you have:

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • A minimum of 12 years of experience in contract administration within the construction consultancy sector.
  • Recent experience in Abu Dhabi is mandatory.
  • Proven expertise in managing contracts for utilities and infrastructure projects.
  • Strong understanding of UAE construction laws, regulations, and industry standards.
