Daikin Middle East & Africa (DAME) is a subsidiary of Daikin Industries Limited, a Japanese outstanding company and worldwide the biggest developer, producer and supplier of HVAC-R (heating, ventilation, air conditioning and refrigeration) solutions, including heating pumps and cooling technology.
DAME is Daikin’s Middle East and Africa regional HQ. The regional has headquarter in Dubai and other offices in Abu Dhabi, Cairo (Egypt), Riyadh (Saudi Arabia), Jeddah (Saudi Arabia), Qatar as well as 2 production plants, and 2 sales subsidiaries and offices and a whole network of independent distributors and dealers across the MEA region.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Oversee and drive consulting sales initiatives within the Qatar/Applied market for Daikin.
- Develop and maintain robust relationships with consultants, developers, and owners, positioning Daikin as the preferred supplier.
- Build a comprehensive consultants map and annual coverage plan to maximize engagement and coverage.
- Contribute to the growth of market share by expanding the consultant base, increasing spec-in numbers, and formulating spec-in plans.
- Develop and implement promotional strategies for HVAC products, utilizing various tools such as seminars and printed/e-data materials, in collaboration with headquarters support.
- Actively engage in the creation and dissemination of promotional materials to enhance Daikin’s visibility.
- Provide high-level product and application support, including design assistance, to potential customers.
- Conduct seminars for consultants and decision-makers in the commercial and industrial market segments.
- Collaborate with consultants and key accounts to understand project specifications.
- Work closely with the Project Sales team to ensure successful order conclusion.
- Further develop and establish the Daikin brand, strategically expanding the Consultants network to capture additional market share.
- Consult with the line manager to define and implement effective strategies for Consulting Sales.
- Analyze business performance data to drive improvements in the Abu Dhabi market.
- Conduct thorough competitor and client research to stay informed about industry trends and opportunities.
REQUIREMENTS:
- University degree in engineering. An additional MBA or postgraduate degree is desirable
- Minimum 8 years of experience in the HVAC sector
- Extensive technical knowledge in Applied and Airside systems (Chiller, Chilled Water, AHU, FCU)
- Strong Commercial aptitude
- Strong understanding and work exposure in the engineering and construction industry within the region
- Experience working in international and multicultural environments is preferable
- A strong network of business contacts (consultants/developers/owners)
- Previous work experience in the Qatar Education:
- Excellent communication (presentation, negotiation and influencing) skills, both spoken and written English
- Knowledge of the Arabic language is considered as an advantage
