  • The position is responsible and accountable for all construction activities pertaining to their area (Process, Utilities, Common Facilities, Off-sites, CO-2 compression and HeRu#4) of WORK through interfaces management, construction/pre-commissioning activities to hand-over to the Commissioning and Completion Teams in accordance with the Completion Sequence.
  • This position is located at RLIC Site to supervise the execution of the fabrication and construction works, ensuring compliance with the approved construction sequence and a seamless transition with the pre-commissioning, then commissioning activities.

 

About this role

  • Responsible and accountable to review, comment, and approve construction execution and related procedure specifications, and deliverables prepared by the CONTRACTOR and pertaining the area he is responsible and assigned to.
  • Leadership and “work as a team” behaviour and attitude towards CONTRACTOR, its Subcontractors to achieve Project objectives.
  • Visibility to the team, in particular, during the monthly meetings with the subcontractors, SHES weekly meetings and constructability reviews to influence on the technical decisions to better achieve flawless construction execution and transition to pre-commissioning and commissioning.
  • Work in a dynamic multiple cultural environment that has high expectations for flawless Project Execution in safety, quality, cost and schedule performances, which requires the incumbent to demonstrate capacity to take workload, work with accuracy, take initiatives, be inventive and have the ability to multi-tasks.
  • Working effectively within established procedures and participates in all important meetings and workshops (weekly and monthly meetings, 3D Model reviews, Constructability, Construction and Completion Sequence Reviews).
  • Strong ability to influence others who are not in his direct control to achieve Project objectives.
  • Bring solutions and provide support but not generate “micro-management” or unnecessary works to the Team and/or the Contractor.
  • Be inventive to bring technical and execution solutions that favor safe construction execution and transition to commissioning activities.
  • Facilitate periodic meetings within the PMT and with the Contractor and its Subcontractors.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the Construction Division Manager, be flexible.
  • Dealing with ad-hoc requests related to project operational and project logistics activities, such as deliveries of large equipment, preservation and installation to their final location.
  • Experience reviewing and preparing method statements, participate to Job Safety Assessment and incidents analysis.
  • Experience with Systems Completion databases such as: Win_PCS, Smart_Completion, ICAPS.

What you need to bring:

  • Bachelor’s in sciences with technical background as a discipline engineer, Project Engineer, Field Engineer, or Construction Superintendent, Construction Manager with solid and proven project execution experience.
  • Fifteen (15) years minimum experience in project execution, with a strong background in fabrication, construction and management of medium to large greenfield construction activities.
  • Proven experience with Advanced Work Packaging (AWP) methodology and systems completion management and tools.
  • Experience with multi-cultural type Projects.
  • Experience with LNG or petrochemical onshore projects is preferred.
  • Good organizational, planning, communication, and execution skills.
  • Computer literacy (MS Office, SCDB, Primavera).
  • Well-developed interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate with several organizational levels .
  • Developed coordination and planning skills.
