We are seeking a skilled and experienced Gas Compressor Supervisor to join our team, focusing on the operation and maintenance of Ariel compressors and Waukesha engines.

Position Summary:
The Compressor Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations, maintenance, and troubleshooting of Ariel compressors and Waukesha engines. This role involves ensuring optimal performance, safety, and compliance with industry standards. The ideal candidate will possess in-depth technical knowledge, strong leadership skills, and the ability to manage a team of technicians effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

1.    Operations and Maintenance:
•     Oversee the operation and maintenance of Ariel compressors and Waukesha engines.
•     Perform routine inspections, preventive maintenance, and troubleshooting to ensure optimal performance.
•     Develop and implement maintenance schedules to minimize downtime and extend equipment lifespan.

2.    Troubleshooting and Repairs:
•     Diagnose and resolve issues related to compressors and engines, including mechanical, electrical, and control systems.
•     Lead the troubleshooting process for complex issues, utilizing diagnostic tools and software.
•     Coordinate with vendors and suppliers for parts and service as needed.

3.    Team Management:
•     Supervise and train a team of technicians, ensuring adherence to safety protocols and maintenance procedures.
•     Assign tasks, monitor progress, and provide guidance to ensure high-quality work.
•     Conduct performance evaluations and identify areas for professional development.

4.    Safety and Compliance:
•     Ensure all maintenance activities comply with safety standards, company policies, and industry regulations.
•     Conduct safety briefings and training sessions for the maintenance team.
•     Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, inspections, and repairs.

5.    Efficiency and Performance:
•     Monitor and analyse performance of compressors and engines to identify opportunities for improvement.
•     Implement strategies to enhance the efficiency and reliability of equipment.
•     Prepare reports on equipment performance, maintenance activities, and downtime.

6.    Innovation and Upgrades:
•     Stay updated with the latest advancements in compressor and engine technology.
•     Lead initiatives for equipment upgrades and modernization projects.
•     Evaluate new technologies and recommend their implementation to improve operations.

Qualifications:

Education:
•     Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Maintenance, or a related field preferred.

Experience:
•     Minimum of 10 years of experience in operating and maintaining Ariel compressors and Waukesha engines.
•     Proven experience in a supervisory or leadership role.

Skills:
•     Strong technical knowledge of Ariel compressors and Waukesha engines.
•     Proficient in diagnostic tools and software used for troubleshooting.
•     Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
•     Effective communication and leadership abilities.
•     Strong organizational and time management skills.

Certifications:
•     Relevant certifications in compressor and engine maintenance are a plus.

Working Conditions:

•     Ability to work in various environmental conditions, including exposure to high noise levels, extreme temperatures, and hazardous materials.
•     Availability for on-call work and emergency response as needed.
