Assisting in planning and directing the compensation and benefits activities of the University for achieving the desired results.

 

Responsibilities

  1. Collect and update all relevant information related to payroll monthly.
  2. Prepare the monthly payroll with coordination with the line manager for processing.
  3. Calculate and process the payment of overtime, other allowances, and reimbursements.
  4. Administer all procedures related to the official trip for payment process and bookings.
  5. Prepare the bill reconciliation payment of Social Protection Funds of Omani employee’s contribution.
  6. Advising staff regarding personnel benefits and pay issues.
  7. Preparing final settlement for employees at the time of leaving the University.
  8. Providing data for preparing the reports required by the management.
  9. To complete any other duties and responsibilities when requested by the management, which are related to this role.
  10. Administer employee medical insurance and coordinate with the insurance company to finish all related procedures.
  11. Preparation of experience and salary transfer certificate.
  12. Ensure appropriate security for all HR-related information.

Any other duties and responsibilities as instructed by the line manager.

  1. Ability to work under pressure and to deal with different people.
  2. Ability to analyze the data effectively and maintain confidentiality.
  3. Ability to train the subordinates.
  4. Good knowledge of Oman Labor Law related to the employment, other issues etc.
  5. Numerical ability and data skills.
  6. Good planning, organizational and analytical skills.
  7. Excellent communication and computer skills.

Fluent in English and Arabic.

Qualification

Bachelor’s degree in HR Management from an accredited, with a preference for candidates who have a practical experience
