As Business Intelligence Analyst, you are responsible for conducting quantitative and qualitative analysis for consumer behaviour, brand business intelligence, business performance, KPIs evaluation for all functions including: retail, store, vendor profitability, inventory, warehouse etc to ensure management is provided with the timely data analysis for decision making. You will maintain QDF database and BI tool(s) in coordination with QR IT, conduct and evaluate all daily, weekly, monthly and yearly sales and promotion reports/dashboard, work on AX Dynamic (R3 Reporting) and power BI project during the transfer stage, by assisting team in restructuring, mapping, generating, maintaining, analysing all new R3 analytical reporting.

Key Accountabilities include, but are not limited to:

·       Deploy, generate and analyse all Power BI analytical reports including; QDF’s daily, weekly, monthly, and yearly reports/dashboard with a sensible 360 assessment of QDF’s KPIs behaviour against budget, historical trends, passenger traffic, inventory performance, and other relevant factors may apply to analyse business performance and accordingly provide key findings to support decision making at all level.

·       Constantly communicate with all relevant business owner and end users (including Category Manager, Operational Managers, Marketing etc.) to understand and assess their reporting requirements or if any modification required for existing reporting to support the sales team operation.

·       Coordinate with QR IT for any reporting development ensuring it’s in line with the new BI reporting and analytical structure.

·       Conduct gap analysis and logical root cause methodology frequently to define all possible factors impacted the sales trend, fluctuation, and provide realistic feedback/recommendations to the line manager and senior management for attention and action.

·       Conduct quantitative and qualitative analysis for consumer behaviour, customer profile, store, brand BI mystery shopper programme, market survey to understand customer behaviour, market trend, and new/existing needs, segment profitability, area of improvement and growth opportunity, accordingly make/suggest relevant business proposal to achieve business objective.

·       Assess performance of all marketing promotional activities, evaluate the sales outcome against the targetand relevant KPIs, identify and highlight key findings/observation to line manager for full evaluation and provide recommendations for business improvement to reach sales target.

·       Troubleshoot all power BI reporting failures by coordinating with QR IT Technical team to ensure reporting accuracy achieved and maintained in the business, accountable for the successful management of central database and information sources.

·       Support in the process of developing QDF strategy and planning by providing accurate data, analysis onpast performance or any other relevant information to improve the accuracy of future projection as well as to support the business plan.

Qualifications

About you

The successful candidate will have the following qualifications:

·       High School Qualification / Vocational Qualification /Diploma or Equivalent (Type of Diploma Based on Role) with Minimum 4 years of job-related experience; or

·       Bachelor’s Degree or Equivalent with Minimum 3 years of job-related experience

·       SAP BI Certification (preferred)

Job-specific skills & experience:

·       Experience in Management/Business Information System (MIS/BIS)

·       Familiarisation/experience with Business Intelligence (BI) tools such as MS Power BI and MS Report

·       Business Intelligence experience in travel, retail or aviation industry

·       Critical and analytical thinking

·       Business Performance and KPIs monitoring

·       Command of English language

·       High communication and presentation skills.
