General Description

  • Keep, develop, and secure business within an assigned portfolio of new and existing A/B customers.
  • Monitors and penetrates the market to acquire new business within the assigned geographical area or targeted industry segments.
  • Measured against defined KPI’s leading to revenue, volume and profitable growth.
  • Ensuring overall customer satisfaction.

 

Tasks

  • Plan and execute sales visits to both existing and prospect customers.
  • Sell the whole range of products (Air/Ocean/Land) or being dedicated towards one product.
  • Enter all relevant data in CRM. Ensure complete and current client information (potential, tradelanes, decision makers, record communication, etc)
  • Manage opportunity pipeline (actual data and stages, right size.
  • Review the portfolio sales performance and prepares for sales meetings, weekly debriefs and sales reviews.
  • Form professional and appropriate relationships with decision makers.
  • Provide feedback on potential process improvements.
  • Keep up to date with local market trends
  • Share information with colleagues to improve effectiveness.
  • Identification of new business potential and customers according to the defined sales strategy.
  • Creation of yearly sales planning for own customer portfolio.
  • Investigate share of wallet and develops customers via up-/cross selling.
  • Support marketing campaigns by visiting target customers.
  • Graduate of any field.
  • Has 3-5 years sales experience in Air & Ocean Freight
