We are working with our growing client in the Energy Sector who are looking to recruit a Business Development Manager for their valves division to work in Saudi Arabia.
The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, building and maintaining client relationships, and executing strategic initiatives to expand their market presence in Saudi Arabia.

Responsibilities of the Business Development Manager:

Market Research and Analysis:
  • Conduct comprehensive market research to identify potential business opportunities, market trends, and competitive dynamics in the valves for industry within Saudi Arabia.
Business Development Strategy:
  • Develop and implement a strategic business development plan to achieve sales targets and expand the company’s market share in the region.
Client Acquisition and Relationship Management:
  • Identify, approach, and acquire new clients in sectors such as oil and gas, petrochemicals, water treatment, and power generation.
  • Maintain and nurture long-term relationships with existing clients to ensure ongoing business.
Sales and Revenue Growth:
  • Drive sales growth by developing and executing effective sales strategies, negotiating contracts, and closing deals that meet or exceed revenue targets.
Technical Consultation:
  • Provide technical expertise and consultation to clients on valve selection, application, and product specifications to ensure they receive solutions that meet operational needs.
Project Management:
  • Collaborate with internal teams, including engineering, production, and logistics, to ensure the timely and successful delivery of products and services to clients.
Reporting and Forecasting:
  • Prepare regular reports on business development activities, sales performance, and market conditions.
  • Provide accurate sales forecasts to assist with strategic planning.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in business development, sales, or a related role within the valves or industrial products industry.
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets and growing market share.
  • Strong knowledge of the Saudi Arabian market, particularly in the oil and gas, petrochemicals, and related industries.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
