The Bulk SMS Analyst is responsible for assisting the Department Manager in cultivating innovative and strategic alliances that sustain the growth and effective management of SMS business operations, leading to enhanced revenue generation

Your responsibilities will include but not be limited to:

• Responsible for the management of A2P SMS aggregators, consistently communicating with clients to achieve targeted efficiency and maintain high levels of customer satisfaction.

• Understand clients’ business objectives and develop tailored A2P SMS solutions to meet their needs.

• Stay updated on SMS market trends and best practices in A2P messaging to provide strategic guidance to clients.

• Work closely with the sales team to identify new business opportunities and support the acquisition of new clients.

• Assist in fostering and maintaining valuable partnerships with Partners, in line with Zain’s guidelines, to maximize the utilization of Zain services across communication platform channels. This involves utilizing various tools like Bulk SMS, Ad-zones services and, Smart SMS, and other advertising services.

• Explore various SMS monetization opportunities, open new business channels, and explore opportunities.

• Handle product requisition and purchase order request to ensure proper installation by technical and support team.

• Handle operation processes such as contracts, payments and legal forms and market products owned by Zain and operated by Partners, such as Smart SMS, bulk SMS, ad zone, Corporate and banks for services like bulk messaging, .etc.

• Monitor and prepare SMS aggregators performance and evaluate their KPIs on a daily and weekly basis.

• Reviews and analyses A2P SMS traffic and prepares concise reports based on analysis results, delivering valuable insights and recommendations in alignment with budget.

• Measures performance for the fraud system, tracking the prevention tools to identify SMS fraud campaigns and devising blocking strategies.

• Expertise in analyzing large data sets to detect and mitigate grey routes and minimize revenue loss.

• Work closely with cross function teams to investigate traffic drops, troubleshooting issues, and ensure timely resolutions ” Resolve Partners problems” and recommend schemes to improve their performance.

• Actively seeking out new providers with innovative technologies and ensuring revenue growth from assigned accounts in SMS A2P traffic.

 

What We Need From You

To be considered for the position, you will need to meet with all of the below requirements:

Bachelor’s Degree required; master’s in business/MBA preferred.

Business administration or a related field/major.

+2 years experience in account management or client-facing roles within the telecommunications or mobile messaging business.

 

Skills:

• Excellent Knowledge of Microsoft Office.

• Excellent analytical, Numerical, and problem-solving Skills.

• Well organized and detailed oriented.

• Pro-active, able to work on own initiative.

• Excellent communication skills.

 

Professional Experience:

• In-depth understanding of A2P SMS technologies, regulations, and best practices.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients and internal teams.

• Exceptional problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to client satisfaction.

• Ability to multitask and manage multiple client accounts simultaneously.

• Proficiency in power BI software and Microsoft Office Suite.
