Role Purpose:
- Project Leadership: Manage several large projects in parallel end-to-end. Provide expert output and guidance in project planning, coordination, reporting, and documentation.
- Agile Methodologies: Apply Agile principles to project management, ensuring flexibility, collaboration, and rapid delivery.
- Risk and Dependency Management: Proactively identify and mitigate project risks, manage dependencies, and maintain the RAID log.
- Resource Tracking and Forecasting: Efficiently manage resources, forecast needs, and align capacity with demand. Work closely with capability/resource-line-managers to ensure resource planning is aligned.
- Stakeholder Management: Effectively communicate with stakeholders, ensuring alignment with project goals. Be able to manage senior internal and external stakeholders
- Budget Management: Forecast, track, and control project budgets, ensuring financial goals are met.
- Agile Tools: Utilize PMO tools like MS Project, Jira, and Confluence etcetera for efficient project control.
- Organizational Change Management (OCM): Lead initiatives for organizational change management, ensuring projects’ impact on processes, people, roles, and responsibilities are effectively managed. Develop strategies to maximize benefits delivery, fostering a culture of adaptability and resilience. Implement internal and external communication plans to facilitate smooth transitions and address resistance to change.
- Project Time and Budget Management: Demonstrate a proven ability to deliver projects on time and within budget, overcoming challenges and managing dependencies. Employ effective scheduling and resource allocation techniques, ensuring adherence to project timelines. Implement robust budget forecasting and tracking mechanisms, adapting strategies as required to meet financial goals.
- Peer coaching: Coach junior project management and coordination professionals to enhance their capabilities and grow them into successful project managers.
- Enhance project management practices and processes: Support senior leadership and governance teams in defining and implementing project management practices and processes.
Key Requirements and Qualification:

- Proven track record in project management in Agile landscape, demonstrating expertise in delivering successful technology and digital projects.
- Extensive experience in risk management, resource tracking, and stakeholder management.
- Previous roles involving Agile methodologies, project budgeting, technology and digital solutions.
- Project Management Professional (PMP) or Agile certifications (e.g., Certified ScrumMaster, PMI Agile Certified Practitioner) preferred.
- Bachelor’s degree in Project Management, Information Technology, or a related field. Master’s degree is a plus
Skills and Competencies:
- Advanced understanding (Level 3) in project management, Agile methodologies, and related tools.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Ability to align projects with department strategy and support organizational change.
- Familiarity (Level 2) with backlog prioritization, business case management, and benefit realization planning.
- Outcome focused rather than limited to delivery focused.
