Who we’re looking for:

We are seeking an Art Director to join our dynamic and innovative team at VML Doha. As a Senior Art Director, you will play a key role in developing big ideas and creating visually stunning campaigns for our clients.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Develop the visual appearance of campaigns by collaborating with Planning, Account Management, and Creative teams to create and develop concepts.
  • Conduct research to stay up-to-date with the latest communication trends and provide creative ideas that fit clients’ needs.
  • Attend client presentations and sell concepts, as well as attend photo shoots, recordings, etc., to ensure creative requirements are applied.
  • Supervise and train junior members of the Creative team, while coordinating with the Production team to ensure quality standards are met during the production process.
  • Manage and contribute to a variety of projects, demonstrating your versatility and knowledge of all production processes (print and digital).
  • Utilize your knowledge of typography, digital and video disciplines, and photographic skills to produce high-quality work.
  • Embrace working with cross-functional artist teams and stay current with the latest trends of visual influencers across the entertainment and tech industries.

What you’ll need:

  • BA/BS in Advertising Design, Graphic Design, or similar major is a must.
  • 3 years of experience as an Art Director in an Advertising Agency.
  • Strong computer skills, including Adobe CC (Photoshop, Illustrator..), with animation experience being a plus.
  • A strong creative portfolio that demonstrates versatility and creative integrity.
  • Excellent time management, presentation, and selling skills, with great communication and organizational skills.
  • Ability to make use of market research to influence strategic marketing and advertisements.
  • A team player who is flexible and able to manage workflow while directing the work of others.
