Job Purpose:

 

The incumbent in this job is accountable for performing the Planner support activities that are integral to port planning and scheduling, and assist operational planning activities; support the Planning Supervisor and Liquid Logistic Planning Manager.

 

 

Key Accountabilities:

 

  • Assists in preparing and executing Users’ requests and orders; prepares communications for Users on daily operational matters.
  • Prepares communications with port authority, ship’s agents, and Users on ship and jetty nominations.
  • Coordinates and reports to Planning Supervisor and Liquid Logistics Manager on shipping schedules, and products inventory.
  • Conducts daily meeting with Operation and Maintenance.
  • Plans work activities according to priorities and schedules.
  • Close communication with shift planner.
  • Prepare internal loading instruction and order and send it to shift planner.
  • Confirming shipped quantity for each User on monthly end basis to precede issuing User’s invoices.
  • Reports facilities utilization performance to Planning Supervisor and Shipping Analyst.
  • Supports the company’s general and operational planning process.
  • Integrates Quality, Environmental, Health and Safety Management Programs principles in all work activities.
  • Responsible for complying with applicable regulatory and other requirements.
  • Responsible for conforming to the requirements of quality, Environmental, Health and Safety components of the SabTank Integrated Management System (SIMS).
  • Performs other duties as required.

 

 

Requirements:

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, MIS, or Business.

 

 

Minimum Experience:

 

  • Minimum of two (2) years in the  Logistics.

Job Specific Skills:

  • Ability to deal effectively and tactfully with people of various types and organizational levels.
  • In depth understanding of the company’s role and functions.
  • Thorough knowledge of port activity planning and scheduling.
  • Good knowledge of quality, environmental, health and safety aspects associated with the activities related to the job.
  • Thorough knowledge of computer use.
  • Fluent in English (Speak, Read and Write).
  • Effective Planning.
  • Communication Skills.
