Administration Assistant –  NEOM

 

The Administration Assistant at NEOM Community School plays a pivotal role in providing comprehensive support to the Head of School and the School Leadership Team. This position involves a diverse range of administrative duties aimed at ensuring the efficient operation of the school. Key responsibilities include managing correspondence, scheduling appointments, and organizing meetings for the Head of School and other members of the leadership team. The Administration Assistant also assists in maintaining accurate records, handling inquiries from staff, students, and parents, and coordinating logistical arrangements for school events and activities. Additionally, this role may involve assisting with the preparation of reports, presentations, and other documentation as required.  

 

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES & ACTIVITIES
Key Responsibilities
  • Provide administrative support to the Head of School and School Leadership Team.
  • Manage the Head of School’s calendar, schedule appointments, and coordinate meetings.
  • Handle correspondence, emails, and phone calls on behalf of the Head of School and leadership team.
  • Maintain accurate records, including student and staff data, meeting minutes, and other documentation.
  • Assist in organizing school events, workshops, and meetings, including logistical arrangements and communication with participants.
  • Respond to inquiries from staff, students, parents, and external stakeholders, providing information and assistance as needed.
  • Prepare and distribute reports, presentations, and other materials for meetings and presentations.
  • Assist with the coordination of school-wide initiatives and projects, collaborating with various departments and stakeholders.
  • Manage office supplies, equipment, and inventory, ensuring sufficient stock levels and proper maintenance.
  • Support other administrative tasks and projects as assigned by the Head of School or leadership team.
  • Other tasks can be added as per the work requirements.

 

 

BACKGROUND, SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS
Knowledge, Skills  and Experience

 

  • Proactive and hardworking – able to drive, lead.
  • Excellent communication skills and manner, confident engaging with clients and representing the School.
  • Highly computer literate with PowerPoint skills and the technical ability to use Adobe Creative Suite, with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong ability to work collaboratively, as well as independently.
  • Highly organized with a high level of accuracy and detail orientated.
