The Accounts Payable Supervisor is responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of the accounts payable department. The supervisor will ensure that all invoices are paid in a timely and accurate manner, as well as oversee the maintenance of accurate and complete accounts payable records. The supervisor will be responsible for ensuring that all accounts payable policies and procedures are followed and updated as needed. Additionally, the supervisor will be responsible for training and supervising staff, monitoring and completing month-end close activities, working with internal and external auditors, and handling special projects as needed.

YOUR DAY TO DAY

  • Manage accounts payable staff and activities
  • Verify and review invoices for accuracy and compliance
  • Ensure timely payment of invoices and provide reports
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures
  • Resolve any discrepancies with vendors
  • Review and reconcile vendor statements
  • Maintain vendor files and records
  • Perform accounts payable analysis and reporting

WHAT WE NEED FROM YOU

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
  • Minimum 3 years experience in a similar credit control or supervisory role in the hospitality industry.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
