About the Team & Business Line:

Fund Administration is Citco’s core business, and our alternative asset and accounting service is one of the industry’s most respected. Our continuous investment in learning and technology solutions means our people are equipped to deliver a seamless client experience.

Your Role: 

Reporting to a Vice President of the Client Services team, this is a role that requires proactive client relationship management for a portfolio of asset managers, endowments and single and multi-family offices that invest in a multi-asset book of business. This is a unique opportunity to gain exposure to a new line of business that expands upon our traditional offerings.

As the Client Services Manager, you are expected to understand and meet the needs of clients by ensuring service deliverables are met in a timely fashion. It is important to create and nurture long term relationships with clients and work with core and ancillary service teams both locally and globally to ensure service levels are optimum.

• Establish professional relationships with clients and other key internal/external parties as required.
• Understand and communicate clients’ requests with various Citco business functions, operational and support teams to promote effective internal communication
• Ownership of client relationship and recognize when escalation is needed
• Develop a broad understanding of Citco business lines and associated product/service propositions
• Strong knowledge of multi-asset portfolios inclusive of fund investments
• Good grasp of Citco’s various technology platforms or the ability to learn quickly
• Familiar with duties and workflow of the various functional groups that is involved with providing administration to a multi-asset portfolio
• Assist with the coordination of new client integrations and existing client launches
• Participate in projects in connection with the continuing evolution of the business
• Monitor and manage client SLAs and operational deliverables
• Review client profitability and accounts receivables and identify negative trends
• Work closely with the Operations team to identify opportunities for process improvements and system development with the aim of minimizing operational risk and improving efficiencies
• Review risk logs and support, coordinate and communicate incident resolution as necessary
• Participate in operational due diligence reviews and client visits
• Assist in compiling quarterly Relationship Management reports and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
• Coordinate the completion of periodic risk assessments
• Actively maintain client status, commentary and client updates in internal CRM tools

About You:

• You have a university degree in a relevant discipline with 3+ years of related work experience in the financial service industry, preferably within a hedge fund administrator and/or investment company.
• High level of motivation and desire to grow in a client facing role
• Strong interpersonal skills and proven ability to work across functions/geographies
• Good understanding of financial markets, alternative trading strategies, industry dynamics and behavioral drivers
• Highly proficient in Excel, PowerPoint and Word
• Creative problem solving skills and a solutions based approach
