We are currently recruiting for a Reservations Coordinator based in Doha, Qatar.

In this position you will support the Discover Qatar reservations team in  processing and confirming bookings/reservations of tourism arrangements  for  customers  travelling  to  Qatar  (transfers,  tours,  tourism  activities  and  accommodation). Provide seamless operations and excellent services to clients/ customers (B2B and B2C) and also to promote Qatar  as a  premium  tourism  destination.    Enhance the  customer  experience  through  implementation  and adherence of operational procedures,  operational standards and allocation  of team tasks.

As part of your role, your additional responsibilities will include, but not limited to, the following:

  • Indirectly supervise the job allocation  and distribution  of work resources in order to increase efficiency and productivity.
  • Responsible for on the job training of junior staff within the team.
  • Allocate,  action and ensure closure of all the incoming  mails by customer/ agent/ station and take appropriate actions to ensure that all requests are handled within  the agreed time frame as per DQ Service  Level Agreement.
  • Supervise the DQ Operations effective  use of DQ booking system, Visa Application platform,  and all related  systems,  and escalate any issues  in  a timely manner.
  • Allocate and action  visa processing tasks to ensure the visas  issued  are as per MOI  standards and SLAs. Maintain logs to track and monitor the quality level of the services provided  by the DQ Operations Team, in order to identify opportunities for service improvement & operational efficiencies.
  • Maintain logs to track and monitor the quality  level of the services  provided  by external suppliers,  in order to review and report on supplier services.
  • Sell,  up-sell and cross-sell  Discover Qatar (DQ) products and services to the client/ customer.
  • Prepare Agent performance reports and provide feedback to agents to support their performance to assist the Officer in  identifying training needs to improve team performance.
  • Maintain exceptional  DQ product knowledge to be able to provide  expert advice and information to the customers.
  • Handle customer complaints and calls that have been escalated  by the agents,  in  order to solve/close any issues.

Qualifications

About you:

The successful candidate will have the following skills and qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s  Degree or Equivalent  with Minimum  2 years of job-related experience or
  • High School/Diploma with Minimum  3 years of job-related  experience
  • Proficient in MS Office and tourism back office systems
  • Pervious experience in the Hospitality Industry.
  • DMC reservations/operations experience is preferred.
