Engineer

GovCIO is currently hiring for an Engineer to supports the Director of Logistics, CJ-4, and is responsible for assisting with facility master planning, military engineer operations, and civil humanitarian construction projects with coalition forces, government agencies, and humanitarian organizations. Assists CJ-4 or other military personnel with conducting quality control and assurance assessments. This position will be based out of Doha, Qatar and supports the CENTCOM AOR.

The Engineer supports the Director of Logistics, CJ-4, and is responsible for assisting with facility master planning, military engineer operations, and civil humanitarian construction projects with coalition forces, government agencies, and humanitarian organizations. Assists CJ-4 or other military personnel with conducting quality control and assurance assessments. Has knowledge and experience in developing statements of work, cost estimation, and knowledge in Government management of real property, environmental health safety principles, and project management. Has knowledge of military engineer equipment, units, and capabilities. Coordinates with technical experts for engineering design and analysis support. Assists in the accomplishment of campaign plan specific goals as specified by the COR

Required Skills and Experience:

• Bachelor’s with 8+ years (or commensurate experience)
• Possess a current state-accredited Professional Engineer (PE) license through the National Council of Examiners for Engineering and Surveying (NCEES)
• Ability to respond rapidly and sufficiently to changing requirements, unexpected contingencies, and other challenging situations.
• Ability to manage available resources in time sensitive situations.

Preferred Skills and Experience:

• Possess a military background in the U.S. Army, Air Force, or Navy engineering field having achieved the Warrant Officer grade of CW3 or higher, or Commissioned Officer grade of O3 or higher
• Experience supporting U.S. Military Special Operations

Clearance Required:

• Secret
