Job Purpose & Responsibilities

  • Provide regular reports and updates to stakeholders (SABIC Affiliates, Site Projects, Mega Projects, and Growth) on progress and outcomes.
  • Monitor the schedule progress of the “SABIC Technical Information System (STIMS)” projects based on pre-defined plan.
  • Distribute and Monitor requests for projects and non-projects during request life cycle as per company guidelines and requirements to complete tasks within approved KPIs.
  • Flag-out budget overrun & missed milestone to the concerned Leaders.
  • Apply resources according to the approved plan.
  • Prepare material, report, and presentation for SABIC User Council.
  • Ensure that established goals and objectives are measured and achieved.
  • Report achieved/missed milestones for projects.
  • Report & Monitor department service volume related to workforce and resources utilization.
  • Develop & monitor the cost & progress of the projects based on pre-defined budget & plan.
  • Ensure outsourcing services is well implemented & reported.
  • Ensure updated Service Volume is properly reported and communicated to “Shared Services(SS)” department –“Planning & Control(P&C)” . Monitoring unit prices of hour rate , department budget ..etc
  • Ensure department performance reports are complied with E&PM-P&C & SS—P&C standards & timelines.
  • Develop, report & track department service volume for yearly budget with optimum accuracy.
  • Partnership Control & monitor the relationship progress in maintaining the KPI’s of the relationship and making sure that the partner is delivering what expected from this scope.
  • Handling and providing dedicated support for the “Supplementary Manpower (SMP’s)” of Project Engineering department in terms of PO Renewal, PO amendment, SMP Employees internal transfer within E&PM, external transfer with in SABIC affiliate and other functions, PR Creations, Timesheet issues, Education allowance issues etc.

 

Minimum Education/Experience Requirements:

  • Bachelors’ Degree in MIS, Economics, Finance or any related discipline.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in project engineering & management field in oil & gas or petrochemical industries. 2 years of them in project planning and reporting update either direct or indirect.

 

Competencies and Skills:

  • Highly skilled in Microsoft office Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook.
  • Knowledge of Engineering process and deliverables.
  • Knowledge of software related to project planning (MS projects, SAP (Project System)
  • Thorough knowledge of Project Phases, various types of Project Strategies, Project Milestones & Project KPIs.
  • Good Knowledge of Project Measurement Systems.
  • Good Project Management & processes skills.
  • Fluent in English (reading, writing, and speaking).
  • Interpersonal skills.
