Maaden Barrick Copper Company is seeking to recruit Occupational Accountant to join and grow our team.

Responsibilities:

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records.
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
  • Conduct regular reconciliations of bank accounts and other financial accounts.
  • Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations.
  • Manage accounts payable and receivable.
  • Prepare and file tax returns.
  • Assist with budget preparation and financial planning.
  • Perform audits and provide recommendations for improving financial procedures.
  • Collaborate with other departments to provide financial insights and support.
  • Use accounting software and systems for financial management.

Qualification Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation preferred.

 

Experience and Skills Requirements:

  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in accounting or a related field.
  • Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Ariba, Sage, SAP, Oracle).
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Attention to detail and high level of accuracy.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
