Senior Product Specialist – Rare Disease

Job Description:
Product and Disease Expertise:
- Become a subject matter expert on the specific rare disease and the IPSEN related product(s)
- Disseminate high-quality, accurate information about the rare disease product to HCPs within the framework set by IPSEN ‘s overall strategy, and established procedures. This ensures messaging is consistent, compliant, and tailored to the specific region.
Customer Engagement & Key Centers Engagement:
- Targeted Promotion: Promote the product to the most relevant and influential medical centers, following the established guidelines. This could involve presentations, educational workshops, or collaborating with local key opinion leaders (KOLs) in the field.
- Build strong relationships with HCPs specializing in the relevant rare disease. Educate them about the product’s benefits and how it can improve patient outcomes.
Patient Centricity: Recognize that actions directly contribute to the IPSEN’s goals, which encompass both achieving economic success and improving patient care for rare diseases.
Demand Generation: Develop & implement strategies to drive awareness and interest in the IPSEN’s product among HCPs and potentially patients.
Market Access and Reimbursement: Collaborate with internal teams to ensure access to the product for patients through health insurance plans and government programs.
Data Analysis and Reporting: Track and analyze performance, competitor activity, and market trends. Prepare reports to inform future strategies and product development. Ensure accurate and regular reporting of your daily activity.
- Use the CRM tool in activity tracking.
- Manage material resources (ADV, delivery documents, TAP)
- plan visits (Tire Planning) and make appointments.
Knowledge, abilities & experience
Education / Certifications/ Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences, Pharmacy, or a related field
- Minimum 3 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry, preferably with a focus on rare diseases.
- Strong understanding of medical terminology and scientific concepts.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build relationships with HCPs.
- Ability to travel to meet with HCPs
