Your new role, what’s involved?
- Underwater Inspections: Conduct detailed underwater inspections of marine structures, dredging sites, and reclamation areas to assess conditions and identify any potential issues.
- Safety Protocols: Enforce strict adherence to safety protocols for all diving operations. Ensure all diving activities comply with relevant safety standards and regulations.
- Coordination: Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure diving operations align with overall project timelines and objectives.
- Problem-Solving: Identify and resolve technical issues that arise during diving operations. Provide expert advice on underwater engineering and construction challenges.
- Reporting: Prepare detailed inspection and progress reports for project managers and stakeholders. Include findings, recommendations, and any incidents or deviations from the plan.
- Environmental Monitoring: Monitor and document environmental impacts of dredging and reclamation activities. Ensure compliance with environmental regulations and best practices
We’d love to hear from you if you have:
- A bachelor’s degree in marine engineering, civil engineering, or a related field. In some cases, extensive experience may be considered in lieu of formal education.
- Relevant coursework or certifications in underwater inspection, diving technology, or marine construction can be beneficial
- Commercial Diving Certification: A recognized commercial diving certification, such as those provided by the Association of Diving Contractors International (ADCI), International Marine Contractors Association (IMCA), or an equivalent body

- Health and Safety Certification
