Additional School Requirements:

Minimum Qualifications:  

• Bachelor’s Degree in Education in Art or Bachelor’s Degree in the equivalent field with a PGCE of a Bachelor’s degree in English and B.Ed. or PGCE Education
• Experience in an international school is an advantage
• US Curriculum experience is an advantage

Minimum Experience:  

Minimum 2 years experience in teaching Art (Mandatory)

Job-specific knowledge and skills:  

• Strong teaching experience in English National Curriculum
• Experience of teaching GCSE and A Level Art
• Experience of teaching A Level Photography would be an advantage
• Previous experience working with students for whom English is not their first language would be an advantage
• Passion for teaching and commitment to educating the whole child
• A high level of professionalism and consideration for the well-being of children
• Recent and consistent involvement in extracurricular activities
• Respect for all members of a school community, irrespective of position, gender, age and ethnic background
• A positive and solution-focussed attitude to working life
