Reporting to the Saudi GM, the Strategic Account Manager will be working with the Business and function leaders to create and implement governmental and private initiatives in the region, new policy creation and development, develop and execute market access strategies, and other strategic projects that support BD’s business objectives and further the Company’s purpose. This role will also be responsible for managing the strategic relationship with the different Saudi Government entities within the healthcare space.

 

Main responsibilities will include

  • Establishing relationships with senior healthcare partners, MOH officials, National Guard, Ministry of Interior, Military, Institutions & University Hospitals, as well as NUPCO, SFDA, MISA, Local Content Authority, Transformation Committee, and key strategic private account key opinion leaders (KOLs), professional societies, industry, and healthcare providers.
  • Developing positive relationships with policymakers to support public policy and market development initiatives to drive better public health and healthcare worker and patient safety.
  • Developing government affairs and market access strategies aligned with business objectives and relationships with key policymakers and influencers.
  • Developing Strategic Partnerships with GPOs and Government entities to drive Market access and optimal tender management promoting Patient Solutions across all BD business units to support in driving revenue and profitability growth.
  • Optimally represent BD to public officials in governmental agencies and legislative bodies, consistent with BD’s ethics policies and prevailing laws.
  • Support the Country General Manager in executing strategies that are developed globally, deployed regionally, and executed locally.

 

 

About You :-

  • Bachelor of Business Administration, Public Administration, or Science Degree or equivalent. A master’s degree is a plus.
  • 5 to 7 years of professional experience in commercial / Market Access roles in the healthcare sector with a proven track record in the Medical Devices, Diagnostics, or pharmaceutical industry.
  • Proven experience in establishing relationships with government officials & C-suite level customers in a complex environment and successfully working within a matrix organization.
  • A dedication to excellence driven by a desire to continually improve and undertake new challenges.
  • Team player, strong communicator & decision maker, sound judgment and interpersonal skills
  • Open for travel (up to 25%) within Saudi and BD regional and global locations.
