We are seeking a Sales Manger for Automation and Instrumentation who is able to prepare design and offers for Automation and Instrumentation and its solutions, in addition to leading a team for Automation, instrumentation, variable speed drives (VFD) and switchgear.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve sales targets for automation and instrumentation products and solutions and where possible to develop projects with integrated Sales for Automation, Instrumentation and Variable Speed Drives and Switchgear
- Identify and cultivate relationships with potential clients in various industries including manufacturing, process control, energy, and utilities.
- Provide technical expertise and product knowledge to clients, demonstrating how our automation and instrumentation solutions can meet their specific needs and challenges.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to develop sales collateral, presentations, and promotional materials to support sales efforts.
- Manage the entire sales process from lead generation to closing deals, including preparing proposals, negotiating contracts, and following up with clients.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients, understanding their evolving needs, and identifying opportunities for upselling and cross-selling.
- Stay up to date on industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging technologies in automation and instrumentation.
- Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and conferences to promote our products and solutions.
- Provide regular sales forecasts, reports, and updates to the management team.
- Collaborate with internal teams such as engineering, product development, and customer support to ensure seamless delivery and customer satisfaction.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering.
- Proven track record of success in sales, preferably in the automation or instrumentation industry with minimum 15 years’ experience.
- Strong technical background and understanding of automation and instrumentation technologies.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Demonstrated ability to build and maintain relationships with clients at all levels.
- Highly motivated with a passion for sales and customer satisfaction.
- Willingness to travel as needed to meet with clients and attend industry events.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and CRM software.
