Network Administrator – 143

A University Graduate in Computer Science/ Bachelor of Engineering in Computer Science/Related Studies with an IT focus. Certified Cisco CCNA / CCNP with 5 years’ experience in network operating systems. Experience in a similar position with reputable companies, preferably construction / contracting. Demonstrated hands-on network engineering experience with a sound knowledge of converged network systems e.g. Cisco switching and routing technologies, Windows Server, Linux, and other IT infrastructure network and security related systems, etc. Having experience in diagnostic and analytics tools and troubleshooting complex network faults. Having valid recognized professional certifications in networking and security e.g. CCNP, Security+ or other industry equivalents. Having excellent English language & communication skills. Holding a Qatar driving license is a plus.

Roles & Responsibilities

1. Assists the Sr. Systems Engineer and/or IT Manager with implementing network systems across the company.
2. Studies new technologies in his field and suggests their suitability for implementing.
3. Responsible for the smooth functioning of the Network & security installations across the company.
4. Maintains log of user problems and solutions provided.
