Safety Supervisor

As a HSE Supervisor, you will be responsible to contribute and advise on specialist matters regarding HSEQ- Health, Safety, Environment & Quality within a company to ensure that Jotun operates in a safe way within current applicable regulations.

This position is based at Jeddah & will report to the HSEQ & CI Manager.

Responsibilities:

• Implement and maintain the Company’s HSEQ Policies and procedures to comply with legal and Jotun HSEQ Management System.  
• Follow up and maintain necessary documentation.
• Assist the implementation of the HSEQ management system by working closely with the Element Owners. 
• Contribute and coordinate HSEQ projects within specific specialist areas to achieve demonstrable results.
• Maintain and improve the HSEQ, ISO, and OSHAS system documents, ensuring audits and actions are carried out as required to maintain the company’s accreditation to the standards. 
• Deliver HSEQ training to develop employee awareness.

We are looking for:

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering.
• 2 to 3 years of relevant experience in Plant Safety, Safety Management Field.
• Fluency in English & Arabic (Verbal & Written)
• Certification in NEBOSH, OSHA or IOSH will be an advantage.

Location: Jeddah, Saudi Arabia.
