Parsons is seeking a highly experienced Specialist – Reporting to join our team for a large-scale infrastructure construction project. The Reporting Specialist will play a critical role in by ensuring accurate, timely, and comprehensive reporting on project progress, milestones, and financials. This position will work closely with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to gather data, analyze information, and produce reports that inform decision-making and drive project success.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain reporting templates, formats, and methodologies to effectively capture project data and progress.
Design customized reports tailored to meet the specific needs of various stakeholders, including project managers, executives, and regulatory authorities.
Collaborate with project teams to gather relevant data on project milestones, budgetary information, resource allocation, and other key performance indicators.
Analyze data to identify trends, anomalies, and areas for improvement, providing valuable insights to support decision-making processes.
Monitor project timelines, deadlines, and deliverables to ensure adherence to schedules and identify potential bottlenecks or delays.
Generate regular progress reports highlighting achievements, milestones reached, and any deviations from the project plan.
Assist in the preparation of financial reports, including budget vs. actual analysis, cost forecasting, and variance analysis.
Work closely with the finance team to ensure accuracy and compliance with accounting standards and project budgetary constraints.
Conduct periodic reviews of reporting processes and outputs to maintain accuracy, consistency, and reliability.
Implement quality assurance measures to validate data integrity and minimize errors in reporting.
Serve as a primary point of contact for project reporting inquiries, providing timely responses and updates to stakeholders as needed.
Maintain a centralized repository for project documentation, reports, and related materials, ensuring easy access and version control for all stakeholders.
Organize and archive historical data for future reference and audit purposes.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Finance, or related field.
Proven experience (minimum of 10 years) in project reporting, preferably within the construction or infrastructure industry with minimum 5yrs+ experience in GCC (KSA experience ideally).
Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and draw actionable insights.
Proficiency in project management software and reporting tools (e.g., Microsoft Project, Primavera, SAP, Tableau).
Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey technical information to non-technical audiences.
Detail-oriented mindset with a focus on accuracy and quality assurance.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
Familiarity with regulatory requirements and compliance standards relevant to construction projects is desirable.
