Field Service, Generator Supervisor

Performs technically demanding work on-site in a specialized area of Field Service for Generators. Optimally identifies problems as they occur and takes appropriate steps to solve them in situations where the problem is more difficult and sophisticated. Leading the site team, do the work and personnel plans as well as contributing on technical assessment of personnel. 

• Performs complex, niche tasks on turbine and/or generator equipment during new installation, overhaul, repair, or modification projects in accordance with Siemens work procedures.
• Completes documents of all installations, inspections, maintenance and repair work, and failures.
• Performing Enwinding improvement.
• Assembly disassembly of generator parts like bearings, casing etc.
• Performing respective alignment and inspections
• Leading the field service team on site and support Field Service Management in back office.
• Builds work plans at site and distribute over the team members.
• Do the personnel planning and technical assessment of the field team and subcontractors.
• Performs complex service calls and collaborate with customer personnel to provide quality service and feedback on problem evaluation and resolution.
• Performs assessment of equipment condition and applies repair or improvement measures based on standard catalogue of corrective measures.

What You Bring

• Ideally at least 5 years’ experience in Field Service
• Experience of leading a technical team
• Experience in Electrical testing and mechanical activities disassembly / Reassembly of Generator
• Sophisticated knowledge of English written and spoken. Experience in multicultural teams required.
• Experience in Generator stator & rotor rewinding in workshop or in the field.
• Willingness to work abroad and do shift work.
• %70-%80 of travelling requires
• Vocational School / Technical Collage/University in Electrical Degree
• Result driven, Initiative, Team Player & self-motivated.
