Our client, a diversified global asset manager in the UAE, is seeking a seasoned Corporate Finance Manager to join their team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the firm’s financial activities and the company’s business plan to ensure long-term financial health. This role involves close collaboration with senior management to assess and execute financial planning and budgeting for the firm.
– Take ownership of internal business plan and update on an ongoing basis based on any revisions in the assumptions or as a result of any investments made by the firm
– Work closely with senior management and team to develop accurate assumptions that will feed into the internal business plan
– Develop various scenarios for internal business plan and run scenario analysis on various variables
– Collaborate with senior management to prepare budgets and monitor financial performance against strategic goals
– Prepare and review financial reports, including profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow forecasts together with the finance team
– Preparing quarterly business updates to key stakeholders and investors
– Provide recommendations to enhance and optimize financial performance
– Manage relationships with banks / other financial institutions or legal stakeholders
– Provide strategic recommendations to enhance financial performance and business opportunities
– Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and financial standards
Requirements:
– Bachelor in Finance, Economics or Accounting, or in a relevant discipline from a top-tier university; Masters is desirable
– Professional Qualification (ACA/ACCA or CFA Level III) (preferred)
– Candidates must possess strong financial acumen with fluency in valuation and modeling
– Strong analytical skills, detail oriented, proactive, and self-motivated
– Excellent teamwork, interpersonal, presentation and communication skills
– Ability to succeed in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple projects with competing priorities
– Minimum of 7 years of experience in Corporate Finance, ideally within Big 4 (KPMG, Deloitte, EY, PwC) Transaction / Deal Advisory team (currently a Manager or Senior Manager)
