About the job:
Kent is recruiting for a Lead Process Engineer – Decarbonization.
Your responsibilities:
· Strong Experience in Decarbonization Technologies and carbon capturing methods is required.
· Ability to perform load, energy, carbon emission analysis, GHC analysis for different energy conservation measures, carbon reduction planning exercises, develop new solutions to improve energy efficiency and to reduce residual emissions.
· Ability to understand upstream oil and gas processing facilities flow scheme and assist with options to reduce the carbon footprint.
· Good knowledge of process engineering design principles and applicable design guides and standards.
· Strong computer skills include process simulation software (Hysys and/or Pro-II).
· Experience answering technical inquiries, making technical recommendations, improving process engineering tools, and developing process procedures.
Developing the overall process model for the Plant to reduce the carbon footprint and drive implementation strategy
Your knowledge/skills, education, and experience:
Qualification/ Certification:
A minimum of a bachelor’s degree in Process or Chemical Engineering from a recognized institution/university with min. 15 years’ relevant experience in process engineering including 4 to 5 years of energy efficiency and decarbonization studies and relevant works within the oil and gas industry.
Communication:
Able to effectively communicate written and verbal.
