Research Assistant (Post Doc)

Research Assistant in the research project entitled “Acetylide-Functionalized Hybrid Metal Complexes as Electrocatalysts for CO2 Reduction” funded by Ministry of Higher Education, Research, and Innovation (MoHERI), Oman, with grant no. BFP/RGP/EI/22/229.

Responsibilities

Assist the principal investigator (PI) in the following:

1. Conducting experimental work related to the project.
2. Recording, analyzing & interpreting all experimental findings and preparing them for publication.
3. Preparation of figures/diagrams for presentations and publications.
4. Communicating obtained results and data with other project members.
5. Preparation of research articles based on the project outcomes.

Participation in writing and editing the annual report of the project. 

Experience

Skills

1. Proven ability to work in the lab and analyze chemical compounds using different spectroscopic techniques.
2. Ability to work without direct supervision.
3. Ability to analyze and interpret statistical data using excel, origin and related software.
4. Excellent writing skills of research articles for journal publications
5. Excellent presentation skills
6. Publish research articles and review papers in indexed journals.

Participate as a speaker in international conferences

Qualification

Hold a PhD degree in Chemistry with relevant experience and publications.
