Principal Accountabilities:
Ensures all receipts of supplies and equipment from depots and other sources of supply are identified properly and are in a serviceable condition. Monitors the processing of receipts into the Automated Standard Base Supply (SBSS) computer system. Prepares Supply Discrepancy Reports (SDR) as required.
Performs warehouse validations and prepares the warehouse for inventories.
Conducts routine warehouse inspections to ensure compliance with applicable warehouse storage and distribution directives, documents discrepancies, and prepares inspection reports.
Ensures property is identifiable, kept clean, and protected from the environment while in storage.
Inspects property to determine serviceability. Identifies items requiring shelf-life extension, and performs inspection in accordance with TO 00-20K-1. Prepares supply condition tags, and inputs condition changes into the computer.
Operates Materials Handling Equipment (MHE) to move property to and from assigned storage facilities.
Accepts, inspects and processes turn-ins from customers, and moves them to correct locations. Researches part numbers to obtain National Stock Numbers (NSNs) that aren’t loaded.
Initiates and tracks Materiel/Quality Deficiency Reports.
Develops work standards for subordinates. Implements the precepts of quality assurance within the guidelines set forth in the ISO 9001 program. Ensures that all work is completed to this quality standard and provides employees with feedback on their progress.
Conducts on-the-job training as required.
Performs other duties as directed or assigned by the supervisor.
Be responsible for HAZMAT and Environmental functions.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Knowledge & Skills:
Must have organizational skills and be able to understand, speak, read and write English at a beginner level.
Working knowledge in the use of personal computers and Windows Operating System and Microsoft Office to include as a minimum Power Point, Excel and Word programs is preferred.
Must possess a valid home country driver’s license and ability to obtain host nation driver’s license.
Will be required to operate material handling equipment up to 10K forklift.
Experience & Education:
High School diploma or equivalent required.
One to two years experience in a supply system or a closely related function required.
Maximo experience preferred.
Physical Requirements/Working Environment:
Works in normal office and maintenance shop or warehouse environment and may be required to work outdoors for extended periods.
Will be required to wear proper Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) according to prescribed procedures and as required for task being performed.
Physically capable of performing all required duties; capable of lifting/pushing/pulling minimum of 50 lbs.
Ability to travel domestically and internationally.
