Responsibilities
The Weatherford global transfer pricing group has responsibility for the global transfer pricing strategy taking into consideration tax planning objectives, compliance, risk management, audit defense, and implementation. The group conducts thorough transfer pricing analyses of Weatherfords global businesses and prepares and defends analysis in a high stakes, fast paced environment.
Responsibilities & Duties:
- Responsibility for ensuring all Country Purchasing, Sourcing and Logistics operations are in alignment with the overall organizational strategy.
- Define country/area Purchasing and Logistics goals and objectives will be based upon overall business strategy (e.g. savings targets, total cost reductions and supplier performance).
- Partner with all levels of leadership to ensure that country/area Purchasing and Logistics goals and objectives are strategically aligned to support the overall organizational strategy and ensure alignment to global Purchasing, Sourcing and Logistics strategy.
- Manage supply chain field support across regions and translate into actions that are aligned with Supply chain and organization objectives.
- Continuous improvement of supply chain processes to achieve gains in savings, productivity and quality
- Integrate existing Supply Chain (Manufacturing / Operations / Engineering etc.) into the mainstream SCM Organization and close gaps that exists in current process.
- Support all aspects of procurement and cover all Weatherford locations, plants and operations worldwide.
- Responsible for Planning, managing & controlling Procure 2 Pay as per the strategy outlined by Global Procurement
Qualifications
- Bachelor Degree
- 10+ years supply chain management experience within Oil & Gas Industry.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Good communication and negotiation skills
- Language skills are viewed as a plus
