Accounting Officer

We have partnered up with a leading entity in Abu Dhabi who is seeking to onboard an experienced Accounting Officer.

Job Responsibilities & Requirements:

1. Oversee daily subledger accounting with a focus on accuracy and completeness.
2. Execute manual journal entries, obtaining specialist review and approval.
3. Conduct reconciliations for general ledger, intercompany accounts, and daily bank
transactions.
4. Contribute to monthly close processes through allocation, FX revaluation, and other tasks.
5. Generate trial balance, analyze accounts, and prepare standard/adhoc financial reports.

– Minimum 4 years of relevant experience in accounting operations.
– Solid understanding of accounting and financial reporting principles.
– Proficient in ERP systems and MS Office.
– Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting.
– Professional certifications such as CPA, CMA, ACCA, ACA
– Proficient in both written and spoken English and Arabic.
